Growing up in Tempe means understanding college football from a young age. Sun Devil Stadium is part of the landscape. ASU practices are a short bike ride away. Tempe athletes have a built-in feel for what college-level football looks like, sounds like, and demands. That cultural context does not show up on a recruiting profile, but it does show up in how an athlete carries themselves in a college coach conversation.
The LPT system gives Tempe athletes the technical infrastructure to match that cultural fluency. Knowing what college football looks like is different from knowing how to get into it. Bret Lockett spent 5 years in NFL locker rooms after starting at UCLA, and he built his recruiting system around the actual decision-making process of college coaches, not assumptions about what coaches want.
Tempe programs have produced athletes who went on to play at every college level. Our job is to make sure the next group of athletes from Corona del Sol, McClintock, and Marcos de Niza has a complete recruiting plan, prepared film, and targeted outreach that matches their ability level to the programs most likely to offer them.
