"Crossing the Line" | The Danny Harris Story
The coach behind some of the fastest women in Olympic history. Dean Laing trained Allyson Felix, the most decorated female Olympic track athlete of all time, and Dawn Harper Nelson, Olympic Gold medalist in the 100m hurdles. His career spans elite performance at every level, from collegiate strength and conditioning to designing NFL Combine training programs.
As former Head Coach of Performance at Velocity Sports Performance, Dean built programs for UFC fighters, marathon runners, and Olympic caliber sprinters. A two sport collegiate athlete in football and track, he understands what it takes to develop speed, power, and competitive mindset from the ground up.

Performance Director
Five years in the NFL. UCLA Bruins defensive back. Super Bowl attendee. Bret Lockett built his career on speed, and now he builds yours. The same explosive sprint mechanics and film study methods used at the highest level of professional football are the foundation of every LPT track program.
Before the NFL, Bret was a multi sport athlete at Diamond Bar High School where he still holds the school record in the 300 meter hurdles. That track background, combined with a decade of professional coaching experience, gives him a unique ability to develop raw speed and translate it into competitive results on the track.

Founder | Head Coach
Whether you're a sprinter chasing a state title or a field athlete preparing for college, every program is built on the same elite speed science. Choose your track.
Built for female athletes who want to compete at the highest level. From sprinters to throwers, our program develops complete track and field competitors.
Elite sprint technique built from the ground up. Every phase of acceleration, top end speed, and race execution is broken down and rebuilt to shave time off your PR.
Explosive power translates everywhere. Our training builds the strength, speed, and coordination that elite field event athletes need to compete at the college level.
Speed alone doesn't get you recruited. We pair world class training with a recruiting strategy that puts your name in front of the right college coaches at the right time.
Most track coaches teach you to run. We teach you how your body actually produces speed. With an Olympic silver medalist, the coach behind the most decorated female Olympian ever, and NFL level biomechanics training, this isn't your typical track program.
Danny Harris won Olympic silver at 18. Dean Laing trained Allyson Felix and Dawn Harper Nelson. Two coaches with direct Olympic experience are building your athlete's speed.
Bret Lockett played 5 years in the NFL and still holds the 300 meter hurdles record at Diamond Bar High School. The sprint mechanics, explosiveness training, and film analysis he used to compete at the highest level now drives our track program.
Every training session is filmed and reviewed. Athletes don't just hear what to fix. They see it. Frame by frame breakdown creates faster improvement than any other method.
The LA Games are just over two years away. Athletes who begin elite training now position themselves to qualify for Olympic Trials and compete on the world stage.
