Bret Lockett played free safety at UCLA, where he was the team's #3 tackler in 2008. He ran a 4.45 forty coming out of UCLA and went on to play in the NFL, including time with the New England Patriots.
After his playing career, Bret founded Lockett Performance Training in 2019. He now serves as General Manager of D1 Training Scottsdale, leading the coaching staff and running the APEX Speed System alongside Olympic sprinter Cravon Gillespie.
His focus is athlete development, recruiting film preparation, and combine performance. He works with athletes across multiple sports at D1 Training Scottsdale.
